It does this by supporting lifelong learning and healthy development, strengthening families and helping to equip people with the skills and knowledge for a 21st century economy and society.
About the Division
This role is located in the Youth Pathways and Transitions Unit, School Performance Division, South East Victoria Region (SEVR), Schools and Regional Services (SRS). The SEVR School Performance Division has a strategic role collaborating with Areas to achieve high quality school and student outcomes. The Division takes a lead role in strategy coordination, professional practice leadership and monitoring implementation for impact.
The work of the Division includes providing expert advice on regional and statewide performance priorities, as well as ensuring consistent, high-quality professional practice across the region. It includes a variety of specialised teams, including Professional Practice, Provision and Planning, Pathways and Transitions and Koorie Education.
About the Role
The Youth Programs Officer will report to the Manager, Youth Pathways and Transitions. This VPS4 role is for a fixed-term period until 30 June 2029. The primary responsibilities of this role are to:

Qualifications and Experience
Previous experience in the education or community sector, and an understanding of the Victorian education sector will be highly regarded.
