Youth justice workers (Nights) are the frontline staff who supervise and support young people overnight at Cherry Creek, our secure facility housing young people on remand or sentenced to a period of imprisonment.
As a youth justice worker on night shift, you will be responsible for:
To be successful, you will be a keen problem solver with great situational awareness. This job can be tough and at times your resilience will be tested, but by putting in the work, you will see young people make small shifts in their thinking that can have a major impact on their lives and community safety.
Cherry Creek has full-time roles available and is located in Little River, just off the Princes Freeway. It's an easy drive from many of Melbourne's western suburbs, as well as Geelong. We're currently offering up to $10,000 as a relocation allowance to help cover costs for eligible candidates who are interested in moving to within an hour's drive of the facility.
