About the role
As the Yorta Yorta Ranger, your role will be based at Nathalia and will support joint management with Yorta Yorta Nation Aboriginal Corporation of Barmah National Park. You will be a part of a supportive team of 3 Rangers dedicated to delivering Joint Management projects and activities and high-quality services in the park.
This role blends our Yorta Yorta cultural knowledge with modern land management, protects cultural and natural values, maintains visitor facilities, and shares cultural information with the community. A key part of the job is helping build two-way knowledge between Parks Victoria staff and Yorta Yorta People.
To be eligible to apply for any of the three positions available you must be a Yorta Yorta person. One of the three roles available is a Designated Aboriginal Womens position.
