The Nursing Unit Manager, Workforce Operations, will play a crucial role within the Nursing and Midwifery Directorate, leading the Nursing and Midwifery Workforce Unit to deliver effective staffing solutions across our clinical teams. This position is vital for supporting operational staffing requirements at both Albury and Wodonga hospitals, ensuring that all nursing and midwifery needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.
The Nursing and Midwifery Workforce Unit is responsible for managing recruitment efforts for wards, as well as overseeing the Casual and Float Pool cohort. Additionally, the team coordinates the daily operations of the Float Pool, including agency staffing and addressing ad-hoc staffing demands across the two hospitals.
