About the Business Unit
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Workforce Development Supervisor is responsible for the planning, development and delivery of learning and development and training programs to ensure that the location develops and retains the talent needed to achieve strategic goals and objectives. This position is based at H.M. Prison Langi Kal Kal.
About the Role
The position manages all aspects of the learning and development function for H.M. Prison Langi Kal Kal and will be committed to the training and development of all employees to improve productivity and efficiency, to build operational capability, achieve corporate objectives, improve service delivery to customers and stakeholders and provide career opportunities.
The position will ensure compliance with the Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF) standards, oversee the coordination of trainers and assessors, and ensure alignment with the Department of Justice Learning and Development unit.
