We're looking for an experienced Windows Administrator to support and maintain AV's datacentres and server environments. In this full-time, permanent role, you'll be responsible for the design, installation, maintenance, backups, and security of our datacentre, server, and cloud infrastructure - ensuring our essential services operate reliably and securely.
While WFH/Hybrid options are available, it is essential that the successful applicant maintains a presence at either our Blackburn or Ballarat office in line with our hybrid working model.

You are managing a VMware environment with one vCenter and five ESXi hosts in a production cluster, plus two VMs on a standalone host. You need to upgrade vCenter and the ESXi hosts with minimal downtime.
You have two servers in different Azure subscriptions that need to connect over a specific port, but the connection isn't working. Each server is in its own virtual network and subnet, both have their OS firewalls on, and you've set up NSGs between them.
A Windows Server has lost its connection to Active Directory, and you can't log in with domain credentials using RDP. The local admin password in AD has changed, and the old local admin credentials don't work. This issue has been there for a while.
