About the role
Are you passionate about walking alongside people during some of life's most vulnerable moments?
South West Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and skilled Wellbeing Officer to join our Hospital Outreach Post Suicidal Engagement (HOPE) Program. This is a meaningful opportunity to support individuals, families and carers following a suicide attempt or during periods of suicidal distress. Helping them move toward safety, recovery and reconnection.
Based at our Hamilton Campus, you will join a dedicated and supportive multidisciplinary team delivering trauma-informed, recovery-oriented care across the South West Mental Health catchment.
Working closely with our Mental Health Community Support Service and clinical teams, you will:

Some flexibility is required, with occasional work outside standard business hours (including weekends) to best meet client needs.
You will be based in Hamilton's recently opened, purpose built Mental Health and Wellbeing facility a state of the art environment designed to provide calm, therapeutic and culturally safe spaces for both consumers and staff.
