Make a difference through Victoria's water monitoring network
The Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action (DEECA) is seeking a motivated and collaborative Water Monitoring Coordinator to support Victoria's Regional Water Monitoring Partnerships and help deliver critical water monitoring programs across the state. Working within the Water and Monitoring team, you will play an important role in coordinating water monitoring activities, building strong relationships with partner organisations and service providers, and supporting the collection and sharing of water data that informs water management decisions across Victoria.

About us
The Water and Catchments Group works in partnership with water corporations, catchment management authorities, Traditional Owners and communities to manage Victoria's water and catchment resources.
Within the Water Resource Strategy Division, the Register and Monitoring Services Branch is responsible for collecting, managing and sharing Victoria's water information, operating the Victorian Water Register, and overseeing the Surface Water Monitoring Network on behalf of the Regional Water Monitoring Partnerships.

This is a fixed term position available for 12 months. The work location for this position is 8 Nicholson Street, East Melbourne / Flexible within Victoria with hybrid work arrangements available.
