About the role
Join the ACMI Visitor Experience team as a casual VX Guide – Front of House (FOH) for our new exhibition Lifelike. Opening in November 2026 Lifelike is a major new exhibition celebrating the magic of movie puppetry in all its forms. ACMI's VX Guides are responsible for the operational delivery of Lifelike, and our other public facing programs.
VX Guides – Front of House (FOH) welcome a diverse range of visitors to our museum including families, students and tourists. VX Guides are generous and proactive in supporting visitors to have a positive and memorable experience at ACMI. VX Guides deliver talks, tours and introductions to visiting groups including schools, assist visitors in exhibitions and perform gallery invigilation.
This is a casual position running for the exhibition from 8 November 2026 – 18 April 2027.
