The VWR Evolve Project Manager leads the planning, management and successful delivery of the complex, large-scale VWR Migration project. This role is accountable for coordinating a diverse project team of internal staff and contracted professionals, ensuring all technical deliverables meet contracted obligations, quality standards, and agreed schedules.
The position requires expert capability in planning, monitoring, and controlling project outcomes — including tracking budget, velocity, quality, and timeframes — while ensuring transparency of progress for executive governance. A core responsibility is maintaining strong alignment between agile delivery outputs (epics, stories, tasks, test cases) and overarching project governance requirements, ensuring traceability from day-to-day delivery to business outcomes and contractual commitments.
By combining advanced project management expertise with a strong technical acumen, the VWR Evolve Project Manager ensures that the VWR Migration project delivers measurable business outcomes, operates within scope and budget, and maintains a high standard of quality and accountability across all stages of delivery.
Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications
This is a fixed term position available for a period until 31 December 2027. The work location for this position is Flexible in Victoria (office based at 8 Nicholson Street, East Melbourne), with hybrid work arrangements available.
