About the Role
The Volunteer Experience team leads initiatives that enhance how volunteers are recruited, supported and engaged across CFA. This work plays a critical role in strengthening a sustainable, capable and connected volunteer membership.
This is an exciting time to join CFA as a Volunteer Program Coordinator. These roles provide a dedicated, statewide coordination and case management function to support concurrent, high-priority initiatives that strengthen volunteer recruitment, onboarding and overall member experience. The focus is on improving end-to-end processes and job readiness outcomes to enhance the volunteer experience and long-term sustainability.
Please note: these positions are fixed term opportunities commencing immediately through to 30.6.2027.
About you
You understand what motivates and supports volunteers, and what helps them thrive. You bring experience working in or alongside volunteer environments, along with the ability to build genuine, trusted relationships across a diverse stakeholder group.
You are a proactive and highly organised professional who thrives on bringing ideas to life and delivering meaningful outcomes. Comfortable working in dynamic environments, you can coordinate projects and drive initiatives from concept through to delivery, managing competing priorities with confidence.
A strong communicator, you tailor your approach to engage different audiences, influence outcomes and support collaboration. You bring sound judgement, problem solving and analytical skills, and are able to navigate complexity to deliver practical, effective solutions.
Experience in volunteer or government settings and qualifications in social sciences, humanities, business or a related field will be well regarded.
