ABOUT THE POSITION:
Two opportunities are available at Melbourne Museum - one full time (1.0 FTE) and one part time (0.66 FTE), both fixed term until 27 January 2027.
Our Visitor Services team members are the first face of the Museum. This is a sales-based, visitor-facing role responsible for delivering exceptional first impressions and a welcoming, seamless experience for everyone who walks through our doors. You will run ticketing operations, sell and upsell products and tours, scan pre-purchased tickets, and greet members, school and education groups, special interest groups and general visitors. You'll orient and usher visitors through their journey, anticipate their needs, and share information about our exhibitions, events, tours and facilities - making sure every visitor feels welcomed, attended to and supported.

Two fixed-term positions are available at Melbourne Museum, concluding on 27 January 2027 - one full time (1.0 FTE) and one irregular part time (0.66 FTE). Both roles work to a roster that regularly includes Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays and occasional evening shifts (7-day operation), and involve standing for extended periods.
The salary on offer is Grade 2, Value Range 1 - $62,104 per annum, pro rata + 12% Superannuation.
