About the Business Unit:
The Video Conferencing Coordination Unit (VCCU) supports the work of the Sentence Management Division within Corrections Victoria and is responsible for the coordination of all video conferences/Audio Visual Links (AVL) where a prisoner is involved, including but not limited to: court appearances (TeleCourt), conferences with legal representatives and court ordered assessments.
About the Role:
Working closely with prison staff and senior stakeholders, including court registry staff and the legal profession, the Video Conferencing Officer is responsible for day to day liaison and scheduling of matters with relevant stakeholders including prison custodial and records staff, Court registry staff, legal professionals and external assessors and service providers
Some of your duties will include:
The VCCU operate on rotating fortnightly roster that adheres to current prison rostering principles and will require work between 7am-7pm Monday to Friday and 7am-4pm Saturday and Sunday.
