This isn't just another administration job. As the Victorian Rural Generalist Program Project Officer (VRGP) you'll play a key role in supporting the doctors who care for rural and regional communities across Gippsland. Your work will directly contribute to attracting, training and retaining doctors in areas where they are needed most.
The Contract: Part Time – 38 hours per fortnight | Fixed Term until 1 July 2028

The Position:
As the VRGP Project Officer, you will coordinate key rural medical workforce programs, providing administrative, financial and stakeholder support to help attract, train and retain doctors across Gippsland. Working closely with health services, GP clinics and training organisations, you'll drive education, engagement and continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen rural healthcare outcomes. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, coordinating priorities and delivering high-quality outcomes.
