The Department of Government Services (DGS) was established on 1 January 2023 to improve everyone's experience of doing business and interacting with the Victorian government. About the roleThis position presents an exciting opportunity to support the effective management and optimisation of the government motor vehicle fleet, and contribute to an increase in the uptake of ZEVs in the government fleet to achieve the Government agenda to move towards zero emissions. This position contributes towards a safe, efficient and compliant fleet operations; evidence-based fleet planning and utilisation; fleet optimisation and demand management, improved environmental performance and a more centralised fleet management approach in the government fleet.
The VicFleet Services Coordinator works extensively with internal stakeholders, external departments and agencies, procurement and vendors to improve fleet visibility around vehicle usage, replacement and zero emission vehicle transition planning.
Experience in the Government sector would be highly regarded, however not essential.
