About the role:
An exciting opportunity exists within the Victoria Police Impoundment Admin Unit for two (2) experienced and talented vehicle impoundment consultants to provide administrative support for the state-wide Vehicle Impoundment Program.
Vehicle Consultants coordinate the release and disposal of impounded motor vehicles, ensuring compliance with relevant legislations and policies (Road Safety Act 1986, Part 6A - Impoundment, immobilisation and forfeiture of motor vehicles). This includes supporting customers to process the release of their vehicles and maintaining accurate, up-to-date records.
To excel in this dynamic role, the ideal candidate will have experience working in a face-to-face customer-service administration role where you have demonstrated excellent verbal communication skills and workplace resilience. You will bring proficient computer literacy working with the Microsoft Suite and navigating record databases. Displaying an ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team environment driven by legislation compliance, your strong written communication skills and attention to detail are essential in preparing formal reports relating to investigations of impounded vehicles.
