This role will be based across Geelong project office,Ballarat Project Office, 180 Lonsdale St, and project sites as required to support delivery outcomes.

Lead the planning and coordination of utilities requirements across assigned projects to support safe, timely and value-for-money delivery outcomes, from early development through to completion and handover, including adherence to Utility Service Provider standards, specifications and guidelines.
Provide authoritative advice on utilities impacts, risks, options and delivery strategies, using sound judgement to support decision-making, resolve complex issues and improve project outcomes.
Build and maintain effective relationships with project teams, delivery partners, utility service providers, technical advisors and other stakeholders to enable collaboration, negotiation and alignment on utilities interfaces and delivery priorities.
Maintain utilities controls across assigned projects, including scope, cost, program, risks and issues registers, and ensure actions, dependencies and escalations are tracked and progressed in a timely manner.
Coordinate and review utilities documentation, submissions, agreements and management plans to ensure they are complete, compliant and aligned with project requirements, approvals and governance processes.
Reporting to the Senior Project Manager – Utilities, the Utilities Manager is responsible for supporting the planning, coordination and delivery of utilities outcomes across VIDA Roads Projects. The role requires a broad understanding and active oversight across the projects within that program to ensure Utilities risks, interfaces, agreements, designs, schedules, contractual & specification obligations and costs are effectively managed throughout the project lifecycle. The position works closely with Project Teams, Delivery Partners, Engineering Managers, Technical Advisors, Utility Service Providers (USPs) and VIDA’s Utilities Specialists to support safe, timely and value-for-money outcomes, while ensuring utilities governance and compliance requirements are met.
