About the Role
This is a Fixed Term role until 30 June 2026
The Transition Officer will work collaboratively across the Transition Team, Transport Services and MR5 Project Team, building relationships to further the project’s objectives. This position requires critical thinking, flexibility and adaptability to readily adjust to changing priorities, as well as strong interpersonal skills to understand the drivers behind the contract transition and communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
Using their strong project support and communication skills, this position will effectively balance competing demands and provide project support including undertaking research, producing project reports, developing agendas, minutes, presentations, research papers and other tasks as required. This position will contribute to the ongoing monitoring of project outcomes and the successful delivery of the MR4 /MR5 contract transition.

They will also play a key role in stakeholder management and project governance by maintaining probity, monitoring performance, identifying risks early, and implementing solutions to ensure successful project outcomes.
