The Statewide Vision Resource Centre¿s Production Department produces materials in alternative formats including braille, large print, audio, and e-text. Transcriptions are produced at the request of Visiting Teachers and schools for use by students who are blind or partially sighted. Eligible students across Government, Catholic and Independent Schools are able to use SVRC¿s service at no cost throughout their time at school.
A vacancy exists within the Production Department for a transcription officer. The successful applicant will work with a team of nine other transcribers, producing accessible materials for students across Victoria.
