The primary purpose of the role is to utilise competence in traffic and transport engineering, to provide excellent written responses to externally funded project design applications, to meet the need and demands of a growing Metro Melbourne region.
Typical projects include complex signalised intersections and developer funded road network upgrade projects. The proposals put forward by external stakeholders and developers will need to be accurately assessed using your own initiative and technical knowledge to subsequently endorse in accordance with corporate guidelines, standards, specifications, and industry best practice.
The role also includes assisting with the development of innovative responses to various projects, in a changing road network to ensure safety and network operability.
