ABOUT THE POSITION:
As a member of the Tours and Engagement team for the ROME exhibition, you play a vital role in creating exceptional first impressions and ensuring that every visitor enjoys a warm, seamless, and memorable experience. You are the welcoming face of the ROME exhibition, dedicated to delivering high quality visitor experiences that reflect our museum's values of hospitality, accessibility, and cultural enrichment.
ROME: Empire, Power, People: the experience is a vibrant exploration of Rome's political, cultural and social life, with over 150 objects dating from the Imperial period 1st Century CE to the 3rd Century CE, with all the objects on display in Melbourne for the first time.

This role is a Part Time - Fixed Term position from 17 March 2026 to 25 October 2026. The salary on offer is VPS 2.2.1 base of grade - $70,086 per annum, pro rata + 12% Superannuation pro rata.
The successful applicant is required to undergo a National Police Records Check and Working with Children Check and be assessed as suitable (new employees are required to meet this cost).
