THE ROLE
The Tenancy Officer is responsible for delivering high-quality end-to-end tenancy management services to residents living in department-owned Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA).
The role manages an allocated tenancy portfolio and works collaboratively with residents, families, support networks, Supported Independent Living (SIL) providers and internal stakeholders to deliver responsive, resident-centred tenancy services.
The role is responsible for ensuring tenancy matters are managed in accordance with the Residential Tenancies Act (1997) (Victoria), National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) requirements, departmental policies and operational procedures while identifying emerging risks and escalating matters as appropriate.

This is an NDIS Risk Assessed Role / This is a Key Personnel Role.
Staff appointed to this role at the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing may not commence in role until they have an NDIS Worker Screening Clearance and have provided this detail for recording.
