Technical Officer
The Role
The role of the Technical Officer (Native & Salmonid Fish Production) provides technical, administrative, and operational support to the department's recreational fish production and stocking program.

The position of Technical Officer forms a part of the Victorian Fisheries Authority.
The VFA is a statutory authority established to facilitate the effective management of Victoria's fisheries resources in a coordinated and strategic way that insures their ongoing sustainability. The VFA Functions to ensure that the government, the recreational and commercial fishing sectors, and the Victorian community can share in and obtain the benefits from sustainable fisheries management.
