The Technical Capability Coordinator is responsible for co-ordinating the delivery of targeted technical capability uplift for the Victorian building and plumbing industry. This role involves coordinating education and training resources for Building and Plumbing practitioners and relevant BPC, with a focus on technical and regulatory priorities. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Enabling, this role will work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to deliver and analyse the industry landscape, the challenges and the opportunities to ensure a holistic and targeted education program that supports the OSBS in performing its functions effectively.

About the BPC
The Building & Plumbing Commission (BPC) is Victoria's new regulator for building and plumbing. It brings together the Victorian Building Authority (VBA), Domestic Building Dispute Resolution Victoria (DBDRV), and the domestic building insurance function of the Victorian Managed Insurance Authority (VMIA) into one organisation.
Key functions related to building and plumbing regulation will come together under one roof, including registration, inspection and compliance, practitioner discipline, dispute resolution, and domestic building insurance. These services will now part of the BPC and will be fully integrated over the next 12 months.
