The position of Team Manager of Camperdown Adult Mental Health and Wellbeing Services, located within the stunning Corangamite Shire in South-West Victoria, is responsible for leading a dynamic and skilled multidisciplinary team while supporting those impacted by mental and psychological health concerns.

About the role
In this pivotal role, you will lead a multi-disciplinary team delivering high quality integrated mental health and wellbeing services to consumers and their families, carers, and support people across Camperdown and surrounding areas.
As the manager you will significantly contribute to the clinical and corporate governance processes of the mental health and wellbeing service, having accountability for site specific monitoring, implementation, evaluation and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and coordinate a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, integrated mental health and wellbeing services.
- Lead the development of local partnership arrangements with local Emergency Departments/Urgent Care Centres, Alcohol and other Drug Services, Indigenous Services, Specialist Family Violence Services and other key strategic partners in the local community
- Oversee recruitment, staff supervision, financial planning, and service planning.
Position Overview
- Fixed-Term, Full Time Position (80 hours per fortnight) with an Accrued Day Off (ADO)
- Contract to August 2027 (Parental Leave Coverage)
- Camperdown Campus
- Classification: Registered Psychiatric Nurse Grade 5, Psychologist Grade 4, Occupational Therapist Grade 5, Social Worker Grade 5
- Salary Range: $123,302 - $148,309 per annum (pro-rata), plus superannuation
What You Bring
Qualifications:
- Nursing: Registered Nurse with appropriate tertiary qualifications, AHPRA Registration, and at least 5 years' experience in mental health services. Completion of a Post Graduate Diploma or Masters in Mental Health Nursing (or equivalent) is required.
- Occupational Therapy: Degree in Occupational Therapy, AHPRA registration, and at least 7 years' experience in mental health services.
- Social Work: Degree in Social Work, eligibility for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers, and at least 7 years' experience in mental health services.
- Psychology: Registration with AHPRA as a Psychologist and at least 8 years' experience as a psychologist working within a mental health setting
Experience:
- Demonstrated experience in leadership and management within mental health services.
- Extensive skills and experience across a variety of mental health services.
Skills:
- Ability to relate effectively to a wide range of individuals and professional groups.
- A transformational leadership approach with proven experience in leading teams through change.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with a diverse range of clinical and non-clinical personnel and communicate effectively at senior levels.
- A strong sense of self-awareness that promotes engagement, innovation, resilience, and accountability within a multidisciplinary team.
- The ability to manage complex and competing priorities, and to engage and inspire others in pursuit of shared goals.
