About the Division
The Academy Services Division provides a range of specialist services to teams across the Academy, to program participants (potential and current) and to external venue hire stakeholders to ensure an inclusive high quality professional learning or event management experience for our stakeholders. The Division's specialist areas include learning design, participant, event and program support, and strategic engagement.
About the Team
The Venue Hire and Events Team sits within the Participant, Event and Program team. The team are responsible for leading a high-quality and inclusive experience for Academy program participants, guests and venue hire stakeholders. The team oversee the end-to-end participant journey across professional learning programs in collaboration with other teams where relevant. Additionally, the team lead the Academy's venue hire and events function, monitoring participation and venue performance to continuously improve the participant and guest experience. The team coordinate the scheduling of programs, managing program registrations and application processes and administration of venue hire and event enquiries and bookings.
About the Role
The Team Leader, Venue Hire and Events leads a team that delivers high-quality venue hire services and event operations across the Academy. This role is responsible for overseeing processes, supporting staff and enhancing the venue hire and event service.

Note: Given the important role this position holds in supporting the delivery of on-site events it is important that candidates understand the on-site requirements associated with this role. While flexible work options such as part-time or compressed hours may be considered, on-site attendance is required when events or venue hire is taking place. Accordingly, the full range of flexible arrangements may not be available. Work outside of the VPS ordinary span of hours will be required when the centre is booked for events.
