About the Group
This role, leading clinical service delivery in schools and line managing a multi-disciplinary Allied Health team, is located in the Student Support Services Branch, South Western Victoria Region of Schools and Regional Services. The Student Support Services team work collaboratively with schools and Area to support student learning and wellbeing outcomes across the Region.
About the Role
The SSS Team Leader will lead the daily operations and functioning of the West Grampians multi-disciplinary SSS team, coordinating the consistent practice and implementation of the SSS Priorities and key reforms (such as Disability Inclusion reform). The role includes the line management of the Allied Health SSS team. The Team Leader will hold a small caseload supporting complex student presentations and undertake the Key Contact role, providing advice and secondary consultation to schools.
Attributes
We are looking for a dynamic team leader, with strong people management and stakeholder engagement skills and a high-level understanding of current education reforms. A deep understanding of the Allied Health sector will be an advantage, as will any qualifications held in the Allied health field.
Your capacity for collaboration, navigating complex issues, driving continuous improvement and cultivating genuine relationships will be pivotal for your success.
Qualifications and Experience
The successful applicant will be required to provide a current Working With Children Check.
