The Team Leader, Planning and Environment Assessment – Energy is responsible for leading a statewide team that provides high-quality environmental and biodiversity advice to support the delivery of environmental and biodiversity advice and maintains associated records with a focus on energy projects. This position requires a person with strong understanding of land use planning, the Victorian planning system and of DEECA’s role and portfolio interests to be represented in internal and external land use planning processes. The Team Leader will be an active member of the Planning and Environment Assessment leadership team, contributing to the delivery of group and departmental priorities, and to building an inclusive and high performing workforce that is customer focussed, collaborative, professional and engaged. While focused on energy-related projects, the position may also support the delivery of other group and departmental priorities.

This is an ongoing position. The work location for this position is flexible within Victoria with hybrid work arrangements available.
