Position accountabilities
The Department of Transport and Planning is seeking an experienced and motivated Team Leader, Performance and Reporting to lead the delivery of high-quality performance reporting and analysis across the organisation.
In this role, you will manage and coordinate the development of the Department’s Performance Statement, Annual Report and associated output performance reporting for submission to the Department of Treasury and Finance. You will ensure all submissions, reports, briefings and presentations are accurate, insightful and delivered on time.
You will also oversee the Department’s responses to Parliamentary Committees, including the Public Accounts and Estimates Committee (PAEC), working closely with internal and external stakeholders to produce clear and comprehensive reporting. Your ability to provide authoritative analysis, advice and recommendations on performance measures, targets and reporting will be highly valued.
The role requires building strong and effective relationships with central agencies, auditors and key stakeholders across the Department. You will also lead reviews of performance measures, reporting systems and processes, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with recommendations from central agencies, PAEC and the Victorian Auditor-General’s Office.

Qualifications and experience
Qualifications and/or experience in transport and/or engineering, finance, project management, public policy or government reporting will be highly regarded (Desirable).
