About the role:
The Team Leader is responsible for leading a team of compliance and operations staff and ensuring the effective delivery of regulatory functions in relation to non-emergency patient transport and first aid services in line with the Non-Emergency Patient Transport and First Aid Services Act 2003. The Team Leader uses their knowledge and experience to plan, support, coordinate and administer the team's regulatory functions and monitor and enforce compliance in accordance with legislation.
The team leader will work in a small and busy team that provides support to the Manager, advice to senior executives in the Department and the Minister for Health on various regulatory issues and administers legislation and regulations in various health regulatory domains.
This role sits across the first aid service and non-emergency patient transport function, however may also be required to work across other regulatory areas within the health regulator should a need arise.
