The Department of Justice and Community Safety (DJCS) provides a range of government programs and services focused on improving community safety, victim services, regulatory services and crime prevention, and building strong collaboration across the justice system. Tobacco Licensing Victoria (TLV) was established to deliver the Government's commitment to implement a tobacco regulation and licensing scheme and is part of efforts to reduce the presence of illicit tobacco in Victoria.
The Team Leader, Inspection Coordination, Logistics and Evidence Management, is responsible for overseeing the administrative, logistical, and operational processes that supports:
A strong understanding of relevant legislation, chain‑of‑custody requirements, and industry standards is required. The role ensures that all items and materials obtained through inspections, and investigations are received, catalogued, stored, transported, and disposed of in a compliant manner.
The Team Leader, Inspection Coordination, Logistics and Evidence Management, will provide guidance on evidence management protocols, supports operational teams, and ensures that systems, documentation, and procedures consistently meet organisational and legal obligations. Through effective administration, quality assurance, and operational oversight, the role contributes directly to the integrity and success of TLV's objectives.
