About the role:
Team leaders provide professional advice and direction regarding the resolution of a broad range of complex and sensitive matters in relation to the regulation of registered health practitioners.
In general, Team leaders lead, motivate and support a small team to ensure we meet our performance standards within our Service Charter.
Team leaders typically lead a team with a specific function, such as the early resolution of matters, investigating complex complaints and conducting reviews or own motion investigations into systemic concerns.All Team leaders must have the capability to move seamlessly across all of our office's functions and contribute to the achievement of our strategic goals.
About us:
The NHPO's primary role is to provide oversight of bodies in the National Registration and Accreditation Scheme, including the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra), the 15 National Health Practitioner Boards and accreditation organisations. The NHPO sees complaints as an invaluable way to identify and address problems with how registered health practitioners are regulated in Australia.

The Victorian department of health (the department) develops and delivers policies, programs and services that support and enhance the wellbeing of all Victorians.
The department is the NHPO's host jurisdiction, which allows the NHPO to reduce administrative costs by accessing accommodation, information technology and other systems on a shared basis. NHPO staff are employees of the department on secondment to the NHPO.
