Resources Victoria is on a mission to facilitate informed and responsible exploration, development, extraction and rehabilitation of Victoria’s valuable earth resources, from critical minerals and gold to sand, rock and gravel. We oversee an industry that is central to the state’s economic growth and infrastructure development, while ensuring it operates safely, responsibly, and sustainably.
As Team Leader, Compliance you will lead an operational team of inspectors primarily focused on land access, supporting the energy transition and be responsible for managing key operational relationships with partner agencies, that uphold the integrity, safety, and environmental standards of Victoria’s mining, extractive, petroleum and quarrying activities. You’ll be at the forefront of inspections, investigations, and enforcement actions that ensure industry meets its legislative obligations and delivers positive outcomes for communities and the environment.

This is a fixed term position available for a period until 30 June 2027. The work location for this position is Ballarat with hybrid work arrangements available.
