About the Role:
The Team Leader, Complex Cases leads a team within Licensing and Registration that manages complex and escalated licence and registration applications for building and plumbing practitioners under the Building Act 1993. This role ensures decisions are made accurately, consistently and with the highest levels of integrity, in alignment with statutory obligations, regulatory frameworks, and internal policy.
The Team Leader provides expert guidance on complex matters, supports informed decision-making, and drives continuous improvement across operational processes. The role also contributes to the development and refinement of operational policy and procedures, playing a critical part in maintaining the integrity and effectiveness of licensing and registration outcomes.
