The Advisory Services team plays an important role as one of the first points of contact within the Wage Inspectorate, providing valuable information about Victoria's Industrial laws, including: the Long Service Leave Act 2018, the Child Employment Act 2003, Child Wellbeing and Safety Act 2005, and the Owner Driver and Forestry Contractors Act 2005.
The Team Leader, Advisory Services role leads a team of regulatory customer service professionals, delivering service to the public through the operation of a helpline, responding to online enquiries, triaging reports of non-compliance and assessing child employment licenses.
Key aspects of the role include collaboration with leaders across the organisation to provide insights and analysis that inform compliance activities and driving continuous improvement activities to assist the Wage Inspectorate achieve strategic outcomes as a modern regulator.
To succeed in this role, you will have proven experience as a leader within in a complex service delivery environment, including demonstrated skills in driving process improvements and a high performing, collaborative culture. As we are a frontline team, the ability to manage competing priorities and operate within a dynamic environment is required, ensuring coordination of work and quality assurance activities are undertaken to achieve service targets.
