Team Leader, Teacher Engagement and Registration

Salary range Grade 4: $92,600 - $105,064 (this range is subject to increase following current EBA negotiations)
Lead, coach and support a team delivering high quality teacher registration services.
The Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) is seeking an experienced and people-focused Team Leader to support the delivery of effective, timely and high-quality teacher registration and customer support services.
This role will lead a team of Teacher Engagement and Registration Officers within a high-volume, complex regulatory environment. With strong focus on people leadership, you will build team capability, and create a positive and collaborative team culture.
About the role
Reporting to an Assistant Manager within the Teacher Engagement and Registration Branch, you will manage a team of up to 12 direct reports
You will oversee the team's day to day organisation and performance, provide coaching and guidance, and support team members to manage complex applications, enquiries and escalations. You will also undertake quality assurance activities as well as help identify and implement improvements to service delivery.
