THE ROLE

The Reception Services Team provide front-end service to clients, the general public, staff and service providers of the Department. The team is instrumental in providing quality telephone and face-to face service. The role of the Reception Services Team Leader is to support and guide the team to ensure excellent customer service is provided in a fast-paced working environment.
ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE
- Deliver a high quality telephone and reception service to clients, service providers and members of the public by maintaining a welcoming and professional manner, acknowledging all visitors and callers, responding promptly to their needs in turn, and respecting diversity.
- Attend appropriately to each individual enquiry by taking a helpful approach, establishing the purpose of the visit or call, assessing the service required and providing the appropriate response.
- Supervise a small team by leading and supporting staff to achieve their potential while maximising their contribution and outcomes
