At Wage Inspectorate Victoria, we are looking for a strategic and people-focused Team Leader to guide a dedicated investigations team and help uphold vital workplace and child employment protections across the state.
The Team Leader plays a key leadership role within Wage Inspectorate Victoria, responsible for managing, coaching, and developing a small team of Authorised Officers to conduct high-quality investigations and compliance activities. This particular role will lead the Child Employment team and investigate compliance and Child Employment laws. Reporting to the Assistant Director, the Team Leader oversees case management, ensures investigative standards are met, and contributes directly to complex investigations. This role requires strong interpersonal and strategic skills, a focus on continuous improvement, and the ability to collaborate across teams and external stakeholders to drive fair outcomes and uphold public trust.
