The Position
Come and join the IDHS Community and Allied Health Services team, with a well renowned supportive workplace culture and an opportunity to work alongside experienced Allied Health Professionals.
In this role you will work autonomously in a supported environment, undertake a varied and diverse workload and provide interventions in predominately centre based settings (including potential for some outreach work at other sites), making a true difference to our rural clients' independence and well-being. This role requires a generalist occupational therapy skill set, with focus on aged clients and works across bed based (acute and residential aged care) and outpatient/ community services.
This role also provides line management to a small team of multidisciplinary allied health, alongside other team leads.
The successful applicant will have a strong interest in working in rural healthcare and be willing to gain experience in various clinical and non-clinical roles. You will be supported by and work closely with management and the broader team, to grow your career.
