Team Coordinator
The Role
The Team Coordinator provides high quality business administration support, executive assistance, corporate reporting and ministerial request coordination, and team support and coordination.
Working in a fast-paced environment, the Team Coordinator has highly developed interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills, a high attention to detail, identifies and implements continuous improvement opportunities and is proactive problem solver.
The Team Coordinator proactively manages competing priorities, provide sound advice to staff across the branch and positively contributes to effective branch operations, agreed way of working and team culture priorities.

The Team
The position of the Team Coordinator will work within Tourism, Events and Entities branch, which sits within Sport and Experience Economy group.
Sport and Experience Economy (SEE) Group delivers programs and initiatives to support positive experiences and a sense of belonging through sport, tourism, events and outdoor recreation – sectors that make Victoria a recognised leader from the grassroots level to the international stage and deliver significant economic, social and health benefits for the state.
This is achieved by supporting the Minister for Tourism, Sport and Major Events, the Minister for Outdoor Recreation and the Minister for Community Sport in the delivery of sport and tourism infrastructure, and through programs and policies that strengthen the capacity of sport and experience economy organisations, reduce barriers to participation and engagement, support world-class events, and reinforce the role that vibrant sport and experience economy sectors play in growing the Victorian economy, supporting jobs and building stronger communities.
The Tourism, Events and Entities branch is responsible for strengthening the profile of tourism and events across government and influencing strategic reforms and economic outcomes for the sector.
Tourism, Events and Entities undertakes research and provides policy, strategy and industry development advice to the government and industry on the visitor economy. The branch also provides governance support and advice on a number of entities that market the state, secure events, and manage large scale tourist attractions, precincts, facilities and entertainment venues in Victoria.
