The Opportunity:
The Design and Finishing Trades Department at Holmesglen delivers a diverse range of programs spanning fashion and interior design, furniture manufacturing and upholstery, trowel trades, painting, and printing. Our offerings support students across various stages of their educational journey, with qualifications ranging from Certificate II through to advanced diplomas and degree-level programs.
Each discipline within the department maintains strong connections with relevant industry groups and professional associations, ensuring that our curriculum remains current, practical, and aligned with evolving industry standards. This collaborative approach enhances student learning outcomes and strengthens pathways to employment across the design and finishing trades.
This role offers a rewarding opportunity to contribute to the delivery of high-quality education and training within a dynamic and supportive environment. You will play a key role in the full learning and teaching cycle—from guiding students through course selection to designing and delivering engaging, inclusive, and industry-relevant learning experiences. Drawing on your expertise, you will develop and implement assessment tools aligned with the RTO Standards 2025, relevant training packages, TAS documentation, Holmesglen procedures, and funding requirements. The position also involves creating high impact learning resources, building strong industry partnerships, and collaborating with academic teams to coordinate courses and drive continuous improvement. Your work will directly support student success and help shape the future workforce.
