The Opportunity:
Holmesglen’s Design and Finishing Trades Department delivers a dynamic range of programs across fashion, interior design, furniture manufacturing, upholstery, painting, and other specialist trades. With qualifications spanning from Certificate II through to advanced diplomas and degrees, we support students at every stage of their learning journey. Strong partnerships with industry and professional associations ensure our programs remain current, hands-on, and aligned with evolving trade standards - preparing students with practical skills that lead directly to employment.
As a Casual Teacher – Upholstery/Trimming, you will deliver practical, industry-aligned training that motivates learners and builds job-ready skills. You will plan and facilitate engaging learning sessions, develop high-quality teaching and assessment resources, and support students from enrolment through to successful completion. Working closely with colleagues and industry partners, you will help ensure our upholstery programs remain current, compliant, and reflective of industry standards. You will also contribute to a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
