The Opportunity:

· TL3.2 $109,456 per annum pro rata + 12% super + leave loading
· Moorabbin Campus – onsite parking with close proximity to public transport
The Diploma of Nursing at Holmesglen is an ANMAC accredited course, approved by the NMBA, and included in their list of approved programs of study. The program is designed to develop students nursing knowledge and skills in a practical learning environment, leading to national registration with AHPRA as an Enrolled Nurse. Additionally, it provides a seamless pathway into the second year of a Bachelor of Nursing.
This role will provide educational leadership within the Diploma of Nursing program, focusing on the integration of digital learning and simulation technologies into teaching practice. The Nursing Teacher will ensure that best-practice standards are consistently applied across the curriculum, offering expert input into the design and delivery of digitally enhanced and simulation-based learning experiences. They will also play a key role in mentoring and supporting fellow educators in the effective use of digital pedagogy and learning technologies to enrich student engagement and clinical preparedness.
As a Teacher - Nursing you will:
· Deliver quality education and training in line with ASQA, ANMAC, and training package standards.
· Ensure compliance with TAS documents, Holmesglen procedures, and relevant funding or contract requirements.
· Support students throughout the learning journey, from course enquiry to assessment and outcomes.
· Design and deliver engaging training using varied teaching and assessment methods.
· Develop learning resources, build industry relationships, and contribute to course coordination and team initiatives.
To be successful, you’ll have:
· Bachelor of Nursing & Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent predecessor or successor qualifications) + be a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
· Up-to-date knowledge of Vocational and Higher Education sector and VET policies with current & extensive industry expertise, particularly in technology and educational practices.
· Proficiency in contemporary teaching methods and promoting independent learning as well as experience in innovative program design, flexible learning, and ICT utilisation.
· Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills essential for effective teaching.
· Ability to function autonomously, work independently and/or coordinate work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment.
· WWCC and Police Check: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining an ‘employee’ Working with Children Check, and a valid Police Check within the last 12 months.
