Consumer Affairs and Local Government works together to identify strategic priorities, drive system and regulatory reform and coordinate our department’s emergency management responsibilities to improve practical outcomes for the community.
About the Role
Reporting to the Principal Intelligence Analyst, the Taskforce Senior Intelligence Analyst undertakes and leads a range of data and information analysis tasks and projects, with the objective of producing high quality intelligence outputs to further support CAV’s strategic and operational needs under limited direction.
The Senior Analyst uses and draws on their intelligence capabilities to identify and analyse emerging threats, opportunities, patterns, and trends, as well as root causes and possible compliance and enforcement approaches. Senior Analysts work collaboratively with the Taskforce to ensure quality assurance across intelligence related tasking and promote the dissemination of high-quality intelligence outputs.
