About Us
We create thriving places and connected communities. We bring together transport, planning, land use, precinct and policy functions in a single department to deliver the best outcomes for Victorians.

About the Role
This is an ongoing VPS3 opportunity to join the Talent and Mobility team supporting recruitment and internal mobility across the department.
In this role, you’ll support the delivery of recruitment and mobility processes by preparing recruitment documentation, managing candidate and hiring manager enquiries, maintaining accurate records and systems, and supporting candidate care. You’ll also help maintain recruitment and mobility guidance, tools and templates, and support the processing of employee actions in line with policy and governance requirements.
You’ll work across a broad range of recruitment and people and culture activities, gaining exposure to corporate HR functions and contributing to projects and initiatives that improve processes, systems and employee experience. This role suits someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, is highly organised, and can manage competing priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail
What Success looks like
The successful candidate will be someone who is proactive, pragmatic and focused on getting things done in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. They will demonstrate strong attention to detail, sound judgement and the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining accuracy across recruitment and mobility processes.
They will be quick to learn new systems, processes and ways of working, and will be comfortable adapting to change without needing rigid or highly structured direction. Success in this role requires the ability to work autonomously while remaining closely connected to the team, contributing to a supportive and collaborative team culture.
The successful candidate will also demonstrate strong customer and stakeholder focus, providing clear, timely and practical support to the business and candidates. They will show curiosity and a willingness to learn recruitment, mobility and broader corporate HR functions, while contributing to continuous improvement through practical ideas that improve efficiency, quality and user experience.
