About VHBA
The Victorian Health Building Authority (VHBA) is responsible for the rollout of the Victorian Government's multi-billion-dollar health capital projects. We're delivering world-class health facilities across Victoria including new public hospitals and emergency care, community health services, ambulance branches, residential aged care and mental health facilities. VHBA also provides technical support across engineering, property, asset management and environmental sustainability disciplines.
The Opportunity
As a Talent Acquisition Partner, you will be the subject matter expert for recruitment advice, working closely with hiring managers and People & Capability Partners to plan, coordinate and deliver timely, transparent processes that reflect public sector values. You will play a key role in talent strategies, helping to drive continuous improvement across the entire recruitment lifecycle.
Key aspects of the role include:
Offer specialist guidance to hiring managers on recruitment planning, role design, and effective assessment and selection processes.
Ensure recruitment activities comply with the Victorian Public Service Enterprise Agreement, in addition to relevant legislative, policy, and probity obligations.
Identify and implement enhancements to recruitment systems, tools, and practices to promote consistency and support the P&C team.
We are looking for:
Proven experience managing end to end recruitment in a complex, policy-driven environment, with a strong understanding of public sector processes and legislative requirements.
Able to enhance others proficiency by guiding hiring managers through recruitment and supporting consistent practices.
Strong written communication skills, with the ability to produce high quality, rationale documentation such as position descriptions and selection reports.
