About the role:
Reporting to the Engineering Services Hub Lead, the Systems Engineer is a member of a team responsible for priority enhancements and improvements to TechnologyOne ERP at EPA. You will develop and oversee the delivery of configurations and customizations of TechnologyOne ERP using the latest technologies and tools, aligned to EPA’s strategic priorities, to prevent harm to Victorian communities and the environment from pollution and waste. This is an exciting role for an experienced Systems engineer that wants to contribute to the success of the EPA as it enters a new era of environmental protection in Victoria. Working closely with the Engineering Services Hub Lead, you will actively contribute to a positive organisational culture and achieve the highest standards of performance and integrity; fostering genuine partnerships across all levels of government, industry, and community to support the delivery organisational outcomes.
In this role you will:
Contribute to complex project implementations by providing expert domain and TechnologyOne product and solutions knowledge throughout the lifecycle, including design, configuration, training, testing, and support through to end user implementation.
Lead and collaborate with external partners and internal teams to analyse, document, and optimize business processes using TechnologyOne ERP and influence decision making process to achieve high quality outcomes that are fit for purpose and within budget.
Assist the team in identifying organisational needs and designing and implementing solutions for data acquisition, ingestion, warehousing, architecture, and engineering based on specified requirements.
Create and maintain technical documentation, including but not limited to comprehensive functional and technical specifications, service level agreements, data registries, quick reference guides and user manuals.
Skills and experience:
Advanced skills in Excel, BI tools, ETL, SQL, XLOne, Crystal Reports.
Expertise in TechnologyOne software with hands-on experience essential for managing financial systems and streamlining operations.
Demonstrated experience in CiA with extensive development expertise in web-based interfaces for TechnologyOne.
Proficient in TechnologyOne Financials, Property & Rating, Enterprise Asset Management, and Reporting & Analytics modules.
