THE ROLE
The Emergency Management Officer develops, maintains and coordinates emergency management and business continuity planning and preparedness in the North-West. The role requires the establishment and maintenance of strong networks and relationships with internal and external partners and stakeholders and assists in the coordination of regional-level interests in emergencies.
In times of events/emergencies, positions within the Emergency Management Team will be asked to undertake designated roles in the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing to support response, relief and recovery efforts in accordance with State Emergency Management Plan. This position may require after hours and weekend work in the event of an event/emergency,
