What You'll Do
As the Supervisor Visitor Experience (C) you'll lead and support a dedicated team to deliver exceptional, safe, and memorable experiences for all visitors. You'll support staffing, performance, and daily operations, ensuring a welcoming and compliant environment across the Gardens. With a strong focus on visitor engagement, safety, and team culture, you'll coordinate risk assessments, emergency response, and incident management while collaborating across teams to resolve issues and improve processes. Your leadership will help maintain high service standards, operational excellence, and a positive visitor experience that reflects the values of RBGV.
What You'll Bring
You'll bring strong leadership experience, exceptional customer service skills, and a passion for creating memorable visitor experiences. With qualifications in tourism, hospitality, or a related field, or at least five years' experience leading customer service in a cultural, scientific, tourism, or heritage setting, you'll know how to motivate teams, meet targets, and foster a positive, responsive culture. You'll have experience providing information to the public, managing bookings, cash handling, invoicing, and ticket sales, while confidently handling feedback and emergencies. Highly organised and collaborative, you'll demonstrate excellent communication, sound judgement, and problem-solving skills, supported by solid computer proficiency. A First Aid certificate and valid Victorian Driver's License are essential, while a buggy license and an interest in plants, sustainability, or culture will be an advantage.
