The Department of Justice and Community Safety is seeking a Supervisor to provide a critical role within the Corrections Victoria Intelligence Unit.

Corrections Victoria Intelligence Service
Corrections Victoria Intelligence Service (CVIS) is the overarching intelligence service for Corrections Victoria (CV) and its stakeholders. The CVIS is comprised of the primary intelligence unit known as the Corrections Victoria Intelligence Unit (CVIU), and localised prison intelligence units located at the public and private prison and Youth Justice facilities in Victoria.
About the Role
Corrections Victoria Intelligence Unit - Supervisor
The position of Supervisor reports to the Operations Manager, CVIU and has a role of providing leadership and direction to a dedicated intelligence team along with providing day to day operational support to the CVIS. The role will be performed on a rostered basis at the various offices of the CVIU.
The Supervisor is expected to lead the collection, collation, recording and analysis of information to provide intelligence services. The Supervisor must work collaboratively with members of CVIU to develop and present intelligence information to CV, authorised persons, law enforcement agencies, and other stakeholders.
This role will oversee and manage various portfolios including providing ongoing liaison, development and support to Prison Intelligence Units and focusing on High Security Prisoners and offenders in the community, to identify risks and threats to CV and prevent incidents which may impact custodial facilities and community safety.
Note: Whilst CVIU endeavour to offer flexible work arrangements where practicable, this an operational role and will require regular and consistent attendance in the office and prison locations in person.
